New York

Sunday was kind of lost... I don't do all that well with overnight flights.

We walked from Penn Station to the hotel rediscovering how much longer crosstown streets are when compared to uptown/downtown.

Janey wandered some more while I took a ... um... checked out the room for a bit.

Today we went down to the park, checked out the zoos, and walked back, but we each had to stop at our personal NYC landmarks.

Yes both stores are very cool, but I think the employees were a little more accessible at Tiffany's.

Janey did really like a nice little necklace that I spotted... what DO you call a tennis bracelet necklace? You know, a string of diamonds... Anyway, the nice sales clerk cheerfully (but oh so elegantly) told us it was $140,000.

Since I had told Janey, "Anything up to the limit on my card.", and that was just a bit higher, we had to pass.

I picked up the Apple case for my iPad... that, I could handle.

Leaving tomorrow afternoon for Prague.

John Scalzi

I love the fact I live in a time where video
teleconferencing exists. It makes me feel like I’m having a virtual
meeting – on the moon!

Oh, wait, that’s just server lag.

Sigh.

Never mind.

Help desk ticket of the week

This is just cute…

Seeing if I can use this thing on my travels...

Ok, I haven't left yet, but thought it was worth trying this out &
getting the bugs out BEFORE I left...

It's actually a lot easier to type on than I thought it would be... Probably helps that I use two fingers on a REAL keyboard.
